Chhari-Dhandh depends on water and the migration. In a dry year the wetland can be quiet. Ask locally the week you travel.
This cluster sits north of Bhuj, in a different register from the White Rann festival ground. Do not stack it on the same day as Dhordo sunset unless you already know the distances in winter light.
Chhari-Dhandh
Famous as a wetland for migratory birds. Two to three hours with binoculars, not a drive-by.
Banni grasslands
Famous for open pastoral country and wildlife at the edges. The experience is the land, not a gate and a ticket. For bird watchers this grass is itself in the worth knowing — not only the wetland. On dark nights some people come for Chirbatti, the moving lights reported here — only with a local, and never by following a light off the road.
Banni villages
Famous for embroidery, bhungas and communities that still live with the grass. One village well visited beats three hurried stops.

Seasonal sheets of water can hold birds when Chhari is thin. Stay flexible.
