Hodka sits on the village road toward the White Rann. People come for bhunga architecture — thick circular houses built for heat and wind — and for embroidery and other household crafts. It is a living village, not a set. Walk slowly, buy if something is made in front of you, and leave time for Dhordo.
Some travellers stay in Hodka instead of Bhuj to be closer to the Rann at dusk. That works if you want village nights. It is not required for a first visit.
